To accomplish this, we are undertaking a significant upgrading and expansion of our facilities. Each component of MU Health Care's encompassing plan to upgrade facilities and construct state-of-the-art buildings shares a common goal: to provide our patients with world-class care in a convenient and comfortable environment.
Key components of the facilities plan include:
- Consolidating Children's Hospital in one convenient location
- Building a new patient care tower at University Hospital
- Constructing a state-of-the-art replacement facility for Ellis Fischel Cancer Center
- Building Missouri Orthopaedic Institute, a freestanding facility for comprehensive orthopaedic care
